Flat bar cyclocross bike? I'd love to get into CX racing next Autumn (UK) and I'd buy one of those new Transition Raptures. The frame that is. However, i'd rather go 1x10 (I have it on my MTB and have only just come off a single speed, so i'm strong to tackle hills on a restricted ratio) and I want a flat bar with hydraulic brakes.

Steel is real they say, but weight weenies might think it's real heavy. All-City reports our 55cm frame with sliding dropouts and rear thru axle weighs 2510g, or 5.53 pounds. The fork is 1240g, or 2.7 pounds with an uncut steerer. All told, everything adds up to a whopping 25.7-pound package without pedals.

The bike is used for CX racing and putting around town. I just find the drop bars so uncomfortable. You better put a really long stem on it or the top tube length is going to be alot shorter.
